This is why I’m white knuckling at the moment… my agreement with the dealer was purchase at MSRP (12 months ago). So much has happened since then… I probably won’t stop worrying about it until it’s in my garage. If Porsche is going to make any negative definitive statements on Spyder MY23 production I sure hope they hold off another 4-6 weeks.
@alim24 Where are you? I assume this is in the US?

You and me both, brother. My deal is from July. Lot of water under that bridge. I need to have all scenarios pre-planned in my head.

Every other dealer I've contacted so far have had no allocations and waiting lists around 5-10 people deep. One dealer said they've gotten no GT cars the whole year so far. So I guess it makes sense for this one dealer that actually has an allocation to add a fat adjustment 🤷♂️

Sweet..... It is surreal when you finally see an actual picture of a dream that has been out there for so long. Enjoy.

When the ship stopped in San Diego, I also went to the port to try and take pictures but obviously they won't let anybody into the port for security reasons. So I drove to the other side of the bay and snapped some pictures with my 70-200mm lenses. I thought about it later but if I really wanted to, I could have found a nice spot on Coronado Island and taken pictures and videos of it passing by as it exited the bay. Shoulda, woulda, coulda.....

If you really want to burn some daylight and your car is traveling through the Panama Canal, you can view the camera feed as it's going through the locks. When I was watching the Glovis Summit go through the locks, my son told me that I can record my iPhone screen and basically turn it into a movie. So what I did was pull up the camera feed on my iPhone, started recording the screen and kept refreshing the screen shot. When it was all said and done, I basically got a video of the ship going through the locks. These are just some pictures I screen grabbed that I'm sharing.

My car shoulda been on that boat. Dammit.

Almost. That was Summit. You should have been on Supreme. Supreme is still in Santa Marta as of now, a few days away from going through the Canal. I hope your car is on a boat soon. Ridiculous that you are still at port in Germany.
