Official Waiting Room for 718 Spyder / GT4 / GTS Delivery...

looked into them. Decided to go with the Cxx option.. I also worked with the dealer to see if a future dealer install would be cheaper. Fuento panel replacements, came out to $8500 range. Awaiting final confirmation as to how long this will set me back. They initily quotes April / May for the cxx option (currently January production ). Crossing my fingers.

Dealer's pricing was around $8K to complete. Cost jump was due to the door panel (they're saying it's the whole panel, but a section of it). The panels are approx $2600 per side. That doesn't include installation. The good news is I'm done. I have the full JCR system in-bound + M-Engineering tuner + Rotary lift. The Cxx option will likely push my car's delivery to either May or June. It sucks, but I've waited this long for my allocation, mine as well wait 3 more months and do it right. Final item is to find a good, reputable paint correction, ceramic coating + full car wrap service near where I am. The real wait begins...

After spending $140K+ on the the Spyder, my attempt to shave off couple of grand on interior trim pieces has backfired... I am now finding out that while you can change out the interior aluminum pieces (dash & center console), the door trim pieces do not come off. If you want to replace them yourself, you have to somehow procure the entire door panel in order to get the carbon on there. That's only if you can even get the door panel in carbon (they'll likely check the vin before ordering). I guess I have no choice. Dealer is asking $5500 for Cxx option to do this. For those who were thinking in the same line as I was, it may be too much trouble to approach this as a DIY. I thought I'd share.

congrats @TRZ06 ! Almost at the end of your Journey. I won't even be able to drive mine for about a week after it gets to the dealer since it's an east coast dealer and I'm in Los Angeles .
Thanks man,
If it is any consolation, I won't see mine much the first week after I drive it back home.
I am picking it up on Saturday the 4th, the following Tuesday it will go in for the rear-toe link install and alignment, and then the following day it will be going in for ceramic coating and ceramic tint.
