Gemini Blue Metallic. Very unique build and quite classy in my opinion. The grey roof really sets it off for me. This build jumps up to among my favorites.
Blues catch the greens with this one. 12 of each at this point. Unless you count Azzuro as blue.

Thank you for those photos of Gemini Blue Metallic...AND THE BONUS...a photo of a Spyder roof done in a custom color!
It's stunning. It will break me of my 'green-bias' should I get an allocation.

Interesting color. At least to my eyes or computer display, the color seems to be approaching a super slight hint on the purple side, like a super light lilac color. I'd have to see it in person. I'm not really a fan of the grey convertible top but bravo for making the standout choice.

I got a PTS slot for a CGTS back in June. I was told the build was scheduled for early November with US delivery in late December. I have assumed that the build was frozen because it’s PTS. Then Porsche emailed and notified me that I could follow the build on Track Your Dream. Track Your Dream says it freezes in 10 days. I assume that means I can change options for 10 days. Can I also change the PTS color up until the freeze date or is that much harder to do? I’ve asked the SA and got no response. To be clear, I don’t want to delay production. Im just wondering if a change of the PTS is even possible so late.

Once paint is locked for PTS changing color is ill advised.
Trying to do so likely will result in having to start the process all over, with no guarantee of hitting a PTS window.

Love the Gemini, but not feeling the light grey roof. Think it would look better with a black roof. But then it's not my car.
And I'd rather have the black Touring behind it.

Hi all! Question - is there a way to find out if a certain PTS color would be approved before I get an allocation? It's a standard Porsche color option on other vehicles, but I havent seen any in PTS form yet. I've been in V070 status for about a month. Thanks!

Yes, your dealer can contact PCNA and ask them since an approved PTS order needs an approved PTS color.

Sandrabernathy,
I just went through the PTS process on a 992. My car went V215 almost immediately (mid January) but TYD showed a lock date of late March. I was told by the SA once it goes V215, Porsche orders the paint so no changes to the color. He also said they effectively lock the car too so no other changes. From conversations with the SA, changing color would probably make it necessary to obtain a new alloction but I really don't know as our conversation was less about how to change and more about the general super-secret utterly confusing PTS process.
I have seen threads where people go back and modify non paint elements but from what was in the threads, they had to (or have their willing SA go to) PCNA and even then, it's pretty tough and can change build date and ultimately delivery dates. My SA was basically unwilling to reach out to PCNA to see about some non paint changes I wanted to look at. (interior items I ultimately got from an outside company).
Hope that helps.
Best,
Karl
