@Money2536 "I didn't know this, but the US cars have the filters, they just don't have a sensor"
according to the Car&Driver article, while the U.S OPF have the filter matrix, the matrix is not treated with whatever catalyst PAG use therein to affect the particulate capture - not sure I believe that or not - I guess
the main difference being the car does not sense the operation of the OPF filter regardless... so no sensor no CEL...

Thanks Matt! I'm a big OG fan and have learned a lot from you about car care and P Cars. My Spyder (same color/same wheels) is arriving soon so all of your GT4 videos have been great to watch. Looking forward to the upcoming exhaustive (sorry ) study.

Maybe what I appreciate the most is that you show the various things that go wrong! So often they get glossed-over or hidden by other folks, and I begin to wonder if I'm really a phenomenal klutz or just terribly unlucky in the garage.

Thanks for the detail Matt. Have been watching your videos since 2015 when you were swapping out GT3 exhausts in your oversized two car garage. Still some of my favorite videos on YouTube and I still will go back and watch them to this day, or listen to them in the background. Exciting to see which exhaust combination you end up preferring.
That's not only the best part but it's also the most useful. Often times the "don't do this" or "watch out here" is way more useful in a DIY than the "yeah, just do steps A, B and C and you'll be fine. I try to do the same thing in my install writeups: document the pitfalls more than the part that most people can figure out. That, and post where you need to take a leap of faith and just "pull hard".

Those were the best with baby Kate and little Ryan running around in the background causing chaos, while Matt lay on the floor cursing. But damn, did that car end up sounding freaking good.

Considering the somewhat stupid money Porsche aftermarket exhausts command, being able to piggy back on some real research will be invaluable, thank you for doing what you do.
Once I get my Spyder in the new year I'll need to find the time to drive over from Ormond Beach, The roads between you and me are about the best in FL for having some modicum of fun, such as it is, here in the flatlands.
