Sunny SOCAL weather. Took the opportunity to go out and take a shot out in San Pedro after the rain yesterday.

Funny exchange yesterday. I was driving on an errand and got stuck in traffic because of an accident. At the scene an officer told me to role down my window, so I did. He said “is that the 4 litre?”, I said “Ya”, he said “manual too? - fist bump” ……. 😂 I thought I was going to get a ticket or something. Summer wheels going back on next weekend. I'll miss the full profile of the Michelin's but I'm looking forward to seeing the OEM rims again.

Ah nice, I’ve been waiting to see these! Yellow spyder with platinum rims aren’t common, looks amazing. I hope it runs like a top for you.

Had a nice two days in the car, driving up to the interior of BC for work (clients loved the car and the colour!). The trip was a good reminder that it is a pretty great car, perfect for these kinds of trips. Plenty fast, fairly quiet even with the Soul exhaust valves fully open, comfortable, and even fairly economical. When you hang around here, the novelty and rarity of the car tends to wear off. But when you’re out in the middle of nowhere, or in smaller towns, it sure felt exotic LOL, and I had plenty of conversations about it with a variety of people.

Hey Uncle great pictures, I think the Racing Yellow might have a little to do with getting noticed on those rainy days!

For stealthy travel you need something more like chalk.

Hello my Rennlist Internet buddy in Canada,

Great pictures as always.
Looks and reads like your fully enjoying the GTS.

Same thing here once you leave the bigger/larger cities and get out in the country with much-much smaller communities things change dramatically.
When I was doing the break-in-miles I was always in small towns and people loved coming over and chatting when I was topping-up with gas.

T.

No, it came that way from the factory as part of the Extended Deviated Stitching option along with the leather wheel, and I had the airbag crest made for it and the center/top marker is just Racing Yellow vinyl that I applied. I also changed the 3 inserts to Black ones (came with Silver ones) and changed the Silver trim ring to one that I painted Satin Black.
