That is the question I want answered too.
What are the gear ratios going to be? a.k.a. the last GT4 ratios

Is there any weight difference between the 2.5 and the 4.0?

Well, my local dealer is indicating that the base price on the Cayman GTS 4.0 will be $90,000 USD. If true, I’m having a hard time deciding, as that’s less than a $10,000 between the GTS 4.0 and the 718 GT4. And I was gonna do a low spec GT4 anyways.
And, it seems perhaps even tougher justifying more for the GTS 4.0 vs a low mileage CPO 981 GT4. Decisions, decisions...

Oh man oh man. Last April, I found/bought a 987 Spyder. White, 6 speed, buckets. Perfect, and I just had it paint corrected/PPF removed/reinstalled. Now, Porsche does this. If I'm perfectly honest, although I prefer the way the 987 drives to my old 981, there's a part of me that misses the practicality of the Cayman. The seats were easier for my wife to get in/out of. The car had a roof, so the threat of rain didn't make me think twice about taking it out. I'm on the list at my dealer locally for a 718 Spyder, but there's part of me that's thinking hard about this 4.0 Cayman. I've never bought a new Porsche and there's also a certain appeal to doing a European Delivery trip with my wife, doing a PEC ATL delivery, and then bringing it home. Unfortunately I only have garage space for 1 fun car.
