I am doing Zuffenhausen.
I love the Leipzig track but the Ring is just that much better. Planned to head there to see some old friends at Meuspath that I haven't seen in 2 years coming up 3, then head to Austria for a wedding then to Milan for some shopping before heading home. But nothing like the epic trip I did with my 911R that went from Leipzig to Munich to Modena and back up to Stuttgart, visiting all the factories along the way, Porsche, Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani, Ducati, Mercedes and Porsche again.

If things ever get back to "normal..."

I was told I could wait but with no delivery date scheduled anytime soon. They dont know when PCCBs will be back. So i thought I should take my slot anyways. Not a deal breaker for me. But now will most likely be adding an AP racing brake KIT when i get my car.

Probably the smartest decision.....take it now. You can go AP, PFC or Surface Transform later.....unless you need the Yellow calipers

@Bill Lehman and @jmartpr are spot-on. I drove mine over 1,000 track miles at Road America, 10,000 road miles, before the rotors cracked enough to warrant replacement. Still had 60% of my pads left.

And the new Iron setup is huge (408mm in front) with dimpled rather than drilled rotors - they work great and should be very resilient. Only issue is stock pads are lousy (on all new Porsche brakes including PCCB, due to loss of Copper for environmental regs).

Ducati factory is just outside Modena, so we just hoped over after we did the Lamborghini visit. I ran into Shmee at Pagani and my 911R made it to one of his videos.
I decided to drop the car off at Zuffenhausen as I didn't feel like driving all the way back to Leipzig just so they can swap out the winter wheels they loan me. They can figure out how to get the car back to Leipzig before shipping it back to me. From Stuttgart I got back to London then flew to Kittila for Porsche's Ice Experience.
Did that trip with a buddy, we managed to fit 2 1/2 week of luggage into the back of the 911R, with 2 buckets.
For the up coming trip, I will be doing it with my gf. Right now the plan is to head to the Ring from Zuffenhausen first. Then east to Graz Austria via Munich. From there south to Milan. Probably stop by Venice first on the way to Milan. Haven't decided what happens after Milan. Maybe I will take the car back to Stuttgart for drop off, or I might do that in Milan instead. Tempted to take her to Monaco or Geneva however.

I agree... Although not a huge fan of yellow cars in general, it seems to suit the 4RS particularly well with the black accents on the car. I would definitely skip the color matched wheel stripes though, I've never been a fan of that look.
