I'm still hoping they add the 90L fuel tank option. I'm not sure why this would be available for Europe but not NA.
Has anyone seen what battery is being used? Is it lithium ion?

See any issue with selecting the lesser capacity? Less time to zero when not in use I suppose.

It's just strange I haven't seen any mention of the battery type or size. It's typical Porsche that the lower capacity battery in the GT3 is actually more expensive. Definitely paying more to get less in that case.

Looking at those GT3 and GT3 RS numbers, why does Porsche have such a hard on for giving Canada significantly more GT allocations per capita than the US? and also making our GT cars cost less than the US?

Regarding pricing, they can't create massive changes to regional pricing from one year to the next in response to sharp swings in exchange rates. Prices in Canada will increase faster than the US until the gap is eventually closed, at which point it could swing in the other direction.

It's based more on total sales in the market rather than population. Porsche sells 8 or 9 thousand cars in Canada but they don't sell 80 or 90 thousand cars in the US. Also, Canada has historically bought a higher percentage of higher end cars in the market such as AMG and M cars. I think I heard that Canada used to get the highest percentage of AMG cars in the world. Changing market prices is difficult both ways. A few years ago Porsche dropped prices in Canada due to the high CAD and caused a lot of issues with people that bought 6 months earlier.

Regarding outsized Canadian Porsche sales - I'm not sure how successful Porsche Corporate has been on cracking down on it, but in recent years, Canadian Porsche sales volumes have been inflated by exporters who get Canadian straw-buyers to order Porsches at retail prices in Canada, and then they export them to Asian markets as grey-market cars. Porsches can be flipped for 50+% profit.to Chinese customers due to tax and currency exchange arbitrage. The Canadian market is a uniquely efficient market to do this arbitrage in because of the favorable exchange rate of the Canadian dollar in recent years and the fact that US built and now EU built Porsches have no import tax in Canada.

Like clockwork it appears. Clearly a connection with a friendly CA dealership...not 50% but a good 25% and up.

I'm Z06 #12 at a smaller local dealership, same dealer I sourced an at MSRP C8 Z51 from last january (after an 18 month wait), but unlike the top volume vette dealers that get hundreds per year (and lists sometimes thousands long), this one will be lucky to get 5 or 6 a year, which brings us right back to *years*, and that is with a deposit 11 months ago. I didn't keep the C8 Z51, felt the engine was one of the more noticeable weak spots, which is of course addressed in Z06. But deep down, i'm still a Porsche guy no matter how great they make the Corvette.
I'm still hopeful my local 4RS spot will be first year.
