718 GT4RS

480 would be amazing...
But I’d be very surprised if that’s the case.
That does not mesh with their ethos of incremental gains separating two versions of the same car.
Wouldn’t it be too close to the 3?
Do do you know any other details?
PDK-S perhaps? Manual offered?

One more important question. Will it have an e-diff like the PDK version of the GT3 or a traditional mechanical LSD?

GT4rs sounds very intriguing.
However, with GT3's dropping in price, that window between new GT4, used GT3's, becomes pretty tight, for a GT4rs to slide into
Debating 450-500hp, with 450 probably closer to reality, why would you go GT4rs instead of used GT3?
Example, $140k for 500hp and PDK, here:

475 would justify a second car in the garage, provided I can get one. that's more than incremental and would be great for a street manual GT4 + track pdk. They might be too similar, though. It would take the place of a GT3 purchase I had planned. Not sure which one would be a better decision. We all have time to wait I suppose.

Do you think it will have the optional side window air intake from the CS in order to have cooler intake air to make that much power. As well as the semi X51 setup from the CS. AFAIK I gather that might be the only way to get that much power from the 4.0 and still meet emissions and WLTP regulations.

would be a nice problem to have!!
GT4RS with 475 hp or GT3 with 525 hp (guess)
might as well think about nice problems like next Porsche instead of all the corona problems

475-480hp is going to step all over the toes of the reigning GT3, and is a huge jump that would be out of character for non-RS to RS relationship. For the select few that meet the criteria, those numbers would be very sweet. They will have to spin the engine to get there, so will it borrow more GT3 goodies to get there?

Would rather have 440-445ps (in other words, no expensive engine internals) with a real rear suspension (multi-link) and an e-LSD (to put the available power to the ground efficiently), with PDK-S (shorter ratios than the regular 718 PDK), and NO CL wheels. Sadly it doesn't look to be the case based on the 4-15-20 video posted by Methanol earlier.
