Towards the end of the article you will see that was published last year (09/21/2019 to be exact) so this is not an update or new photos.....

I have a deposit at a dealer for a GT4-RS on the stipulation that it will have the GT3.....I know, fat chance.
I will probably pickup a GT4 Clubsport for track duty in a couple of years.

While the production of the RS is still not clear...IMO since the GT3/RS wont fit directly to the 718 platform you can assume they will recycle the 718 GT4 9A2 Evo engine based on info from interviews and the fact they need to spreed the cost of developing this engine....it would be the logical move requiring the less effort/investment from PAG while keeping "reasonable" the increase in price the RS would have. They already used it a bit detuned on the GTS 4.0L I'm pretty sure they can extract 20 more HP from this powerplant and call it an RS version.

That is too bad! A proper motorsports engine would make the RS badge worthy. I guess its a price point they don't think people will spend money for. I love my GT3RS and a big part of that is the engine performance. The RS limit is just so high that you can't extract it except for being on the track. Hence why I drive it less and less. The GT4RS with lower limits might just be the ticket.
My SA just acknowledged its coming and with PDK. Which means its going to be fast!

I just got word from the cleaning lady in Germany last night.
718 GT4 RS available this year!!! Properly the end of the year I imagine.
But here is the kicker: No official approval for street use. Only for the race track.

You are joking right? So my theory of the mystery black being an updated GT4 Clubsport is right....

Read that on a German forum a while back. Doesn't make any real sense since they already have the trackday version of the GT4CS available.

"No official approval for street use"...how does that fit the "RS" ethos? Supposed to be a track car you can drive on the street occasionally. Right? Then why wouldn't I buy a CS?
