Holy ****. I love it.
It says the price is 32k pounds, which is much higher in dollars however from watching Top Gear I've noticed that British car prices are roughly on par with US prices (and sometimes higher) with no currency conversion.
Still heavier than any MX-5 at a projected 2623 lbs, but still not that heavy. They've shod it with 265 tires up front, and I assume 265s in back. At either 286 or 360hp it sounds awesome.
Manual roof.... They're a little mixed up claiming it's like the Boxster Spyder roof and then saying it can be dropped from the driver's seat, so clearly it's actually more like the Miata's canvas roof.
I really really really hope this is real. I mean, I don't know how it fits into my personal car lineup since I own a Miata and a Spyder... Guess I might sell the Miata although I had planned to spec it out for STR autocross this year or next.
Anyway, I think this looks awesome.
