Default 718 Spyder Color Poll

I am quite disappointed in the color choices and I wanted to see what everyone's color choice is to help my thinking. I really want PTS (Auratium Green to match my GT3T) and probably would have been happy with Aventurine Green had it been offered. What can I say, I like green cars.

Right now I am planning on waiting to see if PTS opens or a green is offered later in the production, but if I had to choose I would probably take Gentian Blue Metallic.

Great taste. That was my second choice on my GT3.

I think Aventurine Green has great potential. Can't wait to see it in person.

Odd that there's no Agate Grey Metallic. Thought that had become a standard color.

I like GT Silver and Red interior, as it recalls the original (550) Spyder...

^^^ That looks great. Still, my #1 is Carrera White, if not a Green PTS.

^^^referencing the 550 spyder post: I wish the red leather option wasn’t 2-tone. I hate 2-tone interiors. I’d go gt-silver and red if spyder red interior was actually mostly just red.

I am currently undecided between GT Silver with Platinum wheels, or black with silver wheels. I wanted the Gentian Blue, but I think it's a bit too bright in the sun.

My .1RS is white with black and while that looks great on the Spyder, I want some variation in the garage.

I’m either going white on black/grey with pccb’s in their natural yellow. Or red on black/grey with the stupid optional $900 black caliper pccb’s. Also going with value-destroying heated 2-way sofas. Every single car I own (fun car) has buckets. I remember thinking the 981 spyder in heated sofas would have been fabulous in colder weather; instead of drying my eyeballs out with heat blasting away. So, I’m going old grandpa heated sofas regardless. I’m spec’ing it for me; not the next guy. The buckets look so purdy in the spyder, but I wanna drive the wheels off it in all types of weather. Cooler weather in the drop-top is actually ideal.

wife wants Acid Green PTS. the PTS saga is a sad story of Porsche being unable to be all things to all people. they have failed miserably with the PTS program but it's not surprising that the Boxster/Cayman models get the short end of the stick (again & again)

I would probably pick White with the red Classic Spyder interior (although I agree with comment above about two-tone interiors)

Really interested in the Gentian Blue with the gold wheels (guess it will have to be after market)

Think those who choose "out of the box" Miami Blue with red Classic Spyder interior will have a winning combination

and can never fail with Racing Yellow or Guards Red

love the Black on Black but could never keep it clean enough

In fairness, PTS for the 991.2 GT3 worked really well. Pretty much everyone who wanted PTS and was willing to wait, got PTS.

I think it would be a shame to put a sedate "color" on an exciting roadster. White? Silver? Black? Come on, put something with a little flair on such a car. As above, you can't go wrong with a red or yellow etc. Granted, it will look good in any color you choose.

First one is GTSilver/Red ( I know, boring) but my second one will be PTS (non metallic primary color) with Black Leather Interior.and if not PTS, then Guards Red or Yellow or one of the two blues with Black leather interior.. Also the fancy stereo on both.
