Lease Thoughts on 2019 Boxter GTS special build
Hi guys,
I'm in the market for a 2019 Boxter GTS (my first porsche) in the San Francisco/Bay Area and put down a deposit (on 12/24) for a new GTS special build (~104k) with euro delivery last week @ Porsche (San Jose). I minimally tried to negotiate but sales manager mentioned no discounts for porsches and boy was I ignorant to believe him.
Thankfully I read these forums this week and got a 2% written from Porsche Fremont today.
Based on emails on this thread, I've been seeing anywhere from 4 -12%, does anyone have any advise on best possible discount to get off MSRP?
Also do you guys know if MFs and Residuals are similar across dealerships as they should be set by PF, rather than the dealership. As this is a build, residuals won't be set until I actually purchase the car.
I'm definitely going back to the dealer to get a much better discount or I'm walking. There's 4 more dealers in the area to pit against each other.
Offer:
Money factor: 0.0032 (7.6% - dealer won't budget on money factor)
10k/39 months residual: 58%
10k/30 months residual: 62%
