discounts on high msrp 2018GTS leftovers
#16
718CGTS on the way, not highly optioned but pushing the 90k range. Was able to get 8% off msrp with minimal effort. Also not the first or second car bought from this dealership. I’ve been told that the dealership makes more profit off of options than the car itself, hence a highly optioned car can be discounted a little more.

718 Cayman GTS
Manual
Agate Gray
Graphie Blue full leather interior
brushed aluminum trim and shifter ****
LED headlights
carrera S wheels in satin, not black
lane change assist
sport pasm
extended door leather
18 way sport plus seats
steering column in leather
porsche crests on head rests
then everything that is standard on a gts,
and probably more but I don’t have the paper next to me. Feels weird to build a gts that is more luxury than sporty, but doing the math, an S with similar options was the same money, so the body kit and powerkit are purely bonus.

7-9% off MSRP for any P-car (except GT3, GT4..) is pretty standard if you don’t insist on the dealer next door. And out of state dealers will typically ship to you at those prices. Fresno Porsche seems to be active this past year, hungry to grow. Give them a call.
On Jan 2nd, several years back, I picked up a new Panamera Turbo S with less than 100 miles on it at 21% off MSRP from a dealer that usually doesn’t budge on pricing. It had been on the lot 6 months and had another one arriving for stock any day. Deals can be found, especially this time of year.
Based on on everything I have read and experienced, I believe dealers have a 10% margin on the base MSRP and 20% margin on the options’ MSRP. So most cars have a 12%+/- margin to play with. They need to make something on most cars or they would not be there. Happy hunting.

Couldn't get any deal done with local dealer but lock-in a last minute year-end 18 BGTS with light demo miles at 25k off msrp(105k), I'm still not on-board with the turbo 4cyl sound but given the price I'm not complaining either. Happy new year guys!

I'm chasing a 2018 71 GTS at my local dealer with 80 miles on it (and put about half of those miles on it during a demo drive). They have had the car about 350 days and offered $10K off of MSRP via website no questions asked. MSRP of $93,500. Looking at true used 2018 GTS's, which are running in the low to mid 70's...I'm thinnking Ican be very agressive with my inital offer in the next few days. Thinking$70K or so?
