718 Cayman T
I just came across some new spy pics of what appears to be the soon to be revealed 718 Cayman T. It's hard to tell from these pics if the front bumper is any different from the GTS, but it definitely has a different rear diffuser with the tail pipes spread out similar to the 718 GT4 images we've seen.
Here's some more info and additional spy shots:

Not sure I would go for a Cayman T. I would unquestionably get a manual 911 T were I forced to pick a 911 for weekend duty.

I haven't been keeping up, but last I heard the engine was still a bit of a mystery. The 2.0 would make sense given the 911 T, but I seem to recall reading a variant of the 2.5 was a possibility.

I get the Carrerra T. I don't (yet) get the Cayman T.
The Cayman T, if it follows the Carrera T, could offer one huge plus: shorter manual gears. Oh man that would be the business.

A 718 T with the 2.0 is one of the stupidest ideas I have ever heard. I won’t believe it until I see it. Makes no sense to try to slot it in between the base and S models.
Now, if the 718 GT4 is a flat six, then an upscale GT4 Touring Or 718 T sounds reasonable to me. Sign me up for that.

I agree, this would be an outstanding car!

Looks like a Cayman T mule. Take note of the PCCB rotors and the size, compared to GT3/4 PCCB.
Cool concept, I think it will do well amongst everyone who cannot stretch into a GT4 or get an allocation.

Notice the side vents and similar spacing on the exhaust tips. I'm thinking the 718 Cayman T will be offered above the GTS, more like a GT4 "touring" lite.

I agree. I have a feeling it will be a version of the 2.5. If they plan to offer carbon buckets, shorter gearing and other go fast goodies standard, they would be crazy to pair that up to the 2.0. I’m hopeful they may take a completely different approach and make this a GT4 “touring” lite, complete with 3.8 or 4.0 NA motor. The revised exhaust pipe locations and same side vents (minus the painted covers) as the GT4 test mule sightings seem to support this, but this is just my own speculation.

Hmmm... I’m thinking Sheep in Wolf’s clothing: GT4 bumper covers and wing with a “‘tween-horsepower” 2.0 motor.
The thought of a 718 “Touring” with an MT and a NA flat-6 is, I think, a recipe for disappointment.
Of course, if you all are right and it is a 718 “Touring”, then GTF out of my way: I will machete my way through the deposit line to get one.
