Default 718 overheat warning?

Anyone dealing with 718 overheat warning lights? I got the overheat light and PNA replaced the electric waterpump. About 3k miles later I just got another overheat warning light. It's night so towed car home. Next day drive car hard as I legally can and cannot get warning light to come back on. It is only low 70's in socal and I'm not getting my oil temp past 230. My generic OBD2 tester shows no error codes but perhaps only a porsche device can read proprietary codes. Can anyone shed any light on my situation? I hate to be dead on the side of the road on my way to Vegas.

Thanks,

2017 718

Could be as simple as air in the coolant passages. The 981’s were known for being difficult to purge, so maybe the 982/718 has the same issue. Also, check your coolant level. I have added distilled water to both my previous 981 and my current 718. I never had to add more than a cup of water at any given time.
