Default 718 Cayman - Power Steering / Sport Mode Failure

came back from vacation today and took the car for a drive. it’s the first time the car has sat for about 10 days without being driven.

upon turning it on i got a warning message saying something about power steering not getting enough input and sport mode is being disabled. weird. and then it went away.

it happened a couple of more times during our drive. i turn sport mode on, and a little while later i get a power steering error, and it auto disables the sport mode. i didn’t notice anything weird with the steering. the car has 8K miles.

anyone else run into this? should i call the dealer or see if it irons itself out after a week of daily driving this week?

thanks.

I would bring it in and have them check it out. I had a one time coolant temperature warning on my M235i BMW that I thought was odd. I got stuck about 2 months later 500 plus miles from home. BMW compensated me for all my trouble but still inconvenient. Yours reared it’s ugly head multiple times already - get it looked at.

Possible low battery voltage but I would still take it in to the dealer for a quick look.
