Default Spacers on a C4S?

Just curious what kind of spacers do you guys suggest on a C4S? Does the rear come w/ a factory spacer? If so, can I add one on top?

H&R 7mm in front and 14mm in rear with the stock C4S Turbo twist wheels. C4S doesn't come with std spacers unless you have the GT3 wheels or sport techno wheels IIRC.

I have this exact set of H&R spacers 7mm front and 14mm rear with appropriate longer bolts for sale ($125). I used to have these on my 996 cab but no longer need them since I have upgraded to the GT3 wheels. Please PM me if you are interrested. Cheers,

Where can I see a picture of the GT3 wheels, and what are the specs?

JDS, I only have a few pics on my laptop right now, showing the wheels. A lot of poeple here have them on their cars so if you do a search on GT3 wheels, you can see a lot of them on actual 996 C2 cars. They do fit perfect on NB 996. These are OEM wheels so Specs should be available every where, but from memory the basic Specs are:
18x8.5 et40 --> 235/40/ZR18 PS2
18x11 et63 --> 295/30/ZR18 PS2

I actually weighted these on my "crappy" scale before installing them on the car and the Front is 46.5 lbs and rear is 52 lbs even with tires. Compared with my OEM SD the front is 2 lbs heavier but rear is thre same.

Excellent Pictures, thank you.
These wheels are gorgeous!
I have Super Leggera |||s, but these look nicer.
I have not weighted mine yet.

Here is what I am running: H&R 14MM in front, 15MM in rear. I am happy with this setup. It's a nice improvement for something that dosen't break the bank.

Pls pardon my ignorance but what do these spacers do? Do they make the wheel stick out more and give it a "19's" look?

How did the handling change after install? Did you use the lugs that came with the spacers?

JH,

I'm currently running the same set-up (well 15/15 or 15/17 I'm not exactly sure), I like the look and the handling seems about the same on the street.
