I assume these are HP numbers at the crank?

The numbers of 408 hp and 340 lbft are at the wheels for my 06 Cayman S . They just dynoed a 997 turbo that did 415 rwhp.

408 at the wheel, and 15% drive train loss comes to 469 HP at the crank. Most impressive indeed.

How many BAR boost are we talking about here?

Check out the article from AutobahnAmbitionMag.com about the TPC Cayman...it mentions 5 lbs of boost... about 0.34 bar increase?

That's a very benign boost level. Great job.

BTW, since you mentioned AutobahnAmbitionMag.com, they interviewed us during our Ruf Autocentre get together on May 3, 2008. The article and pictures should be out in the next few months.

Great stuff!

997TT would be ALL WHEEL DRIVE HP (as you cannot unhook front diffs for dyno like a 996TT)

Your Cayman project is great!
