New wheels
I have bought a set off new 996 wheels for my 964 with turbo body. The question is what tire size I should go for?......Anyone!

Hallo Ilko, suddenly this issue turned to a "klick your heals tree times, and f..k your self".....
I didn’t checked the ET before I purchased the Rims. I should go for ET 55, but bought ET 45, The rims is 2” out from the body....
Have to find a 996 owner now.........

ET 45 will work with the proper tire (narrower). 2" is a lot. 2" is ET 0 almost Check again. Which wheel is ET 45, front or rear? If it still doesn't work, you can still return them if you bought them new, no?

Sorry to hear that, Polman...
In a fantasy-answers world, you could always bolt on some GT2-type fenders and make do with the extrrrra width, I suppose...

Okay, here’s the pictures. The rim is "hanging "a bit since the car is off the ground. Don’t you thinks this looks like mission impossible?
The rims are 8" + 11"
In the 2 last pictures, when I measure, I have the same measurement ( 11 cm ) on my old Cup rims and the new Turbo II rims. Concerning that....they should fit

OK, it's not the offset, it's the width of the wheel that is making it impossible to fit. The most you can stuff in the back of a 964 (without modifications) is a 10" wheel. A 10" wheel with a 45mm offset will fit. An 11" wheel with a 45mm offset won't.

Three Wheelin'
his is a widebody, 11" should not be a problem. His offset would be the problem.

Ilko, 11s fit no problem on the wide body car but they must wear the NB trailing arm. Lesson learn, do your due diligence before jumping on the buy it now.....
