I just bought CF door panels (from Marcus) and I test fitted one yesterday evening but..
Few original allen bolts are located too high and also there is one metal sheet too high which prevent this new CF panel to be fitted closely - see picture what I mean.

Can anyone, who has already installed these, help me?

i have the RS panels and we used nut certs to secure them to the door, so basically i drilled new holes. with that nice carbon fiber I'd drill new holes in the door rather than drill holes in the carbon fiber to matche the existing holes. Just my opinion

In my case, problem is that panel doesn't fit close to metal door side because there are few bolt heads which are located too high from door surface. I marked those bolts in blue circle in that picture - see what I mean.

Did you use anything between that panel and door?

I have those panels and they fitted well. I suggest you drill new holes with a dremel ( you need a diamond head) as I did for the speaker bracket holes in the door that I did myself.

I don't think he's asking about new holes. I think he has areas on the sheet metal that are high spots not allowing the new CF panel to sit flat on the sheet metal.

Yes, you were right. I was just speaking about those high spots.

But now I have managed to install one panel already. Another goes tomorror.
Here are simple instructions if someone has similar problems:

1) get much lower bolts:

2) check with straight surface that they fit:

3) move cable holder bolt :

4) change door opener's wire holder bolt :

5) clip that sheet metal and use hammer to bend it back :

6) checking with straight surface that they fit:

7) CF panel door handle bolts are located in new place:
