Default Beck Spyder Steering Box

Has anyone used a 356 ZF Box on a Beck Spyder?

Just wondering if it will work.
Thanks

Why don't you call Beck? Pretty simple answer it seems.

I can pretty much guarantee Beck's answer: leave well enough alone. Were they to sign off on modifying the steering with some non-standard element and then something went south they'd kind of be on the hook, so if were I them why take the chance.
BTW nothing unique to the Beck, it's a basic VW Type 1 front suspension, same as a bug so I guess that question could just as easily be posted to a VW forum.
