Hub has been identified as being for Porsche 356 A or VW OVALI Split
while wood never seen ..

Petri Banjo... no wood

I have a 59A and this steering wheel looks nothing like it. Yes it's a banjo type but that is where it ends. The center cap looks like it doesn't move so there was probably no horn in the car. I'd say it's not a Porsche wheel IMHO.

I see what you mean. 2 suggestions. If it's a older Porsche steering wheel, the place to post the question is over at 356registry.com. Second, you'll get more help with smaller picture files. It takes a few moments for the pictures to download and quite frankly, you want to make the process easier for anyone to help you.

Never seen or heard of a wood banjo steering wheel for any 356 car. Made up or for a different make.
