'64 356 SC cab- it's time
I have had this '64 SC cab since the mid 90's -When I first bought it, I had a full rotisserie restoration done on the body and re-painted to the original color -Champagne yellow, I rebuilt the front end and had all the suspension powder coated and re-assembled.
Fast forward 20 years- I raised my 2 daughters, got caught up restoring a old 1930's house, went thru a divorce and been distracted all these years, and mean while the 356 sat under a cover in the back of the garage all this time. Well I have to say it's time, actually over due, but I am ready to focus on putting her back together this is the year. I ordered a new German top and totally new interior last month. I have a new wiring harness ready to install and all new sound deadening from Stoddard's. I want to post a few pictures before I get started.

Thanks guys, I almost sold her in the mid '90s, because we where going to move to Tampa, but the job transfer fell thru, and I decided to hang on to her. I went thru a divorce in 2003 and if I had put her back together before then, I wouldn't have been able to afford paying the ex half the value, so I am glad it has worked out this way! -I will post pic's in the next couple months of the progress. My goal is to have her back together and drive her on "Drive your 356 day" in September.

Whew! Thought this was going to be one of those "it's time to sell," threads, glad to see that it is not. Keep us up to date on the progress. Enjoy the build!
