Going to take a look in the next few days at a 1951 356 Pre A. It's been sitting in a garage for years which prior to that it was running. It also has the 1500 engine. I believe it's a late 1951 or very early 1952 since it has the split window.
Ok so got to take a look at the vehicle and not original engine but newer VW. The car is straight and interior is intact. nothing missing from the car but once again the original engine.
