Back on January 19, 1965 I placed an order for a Slate Grey Cab with red leather, Side Mirror, AM-FM radio, Luggage Rack, Ski Holder & Chrome Wheels. Before it came in, the company I had just begun working for went on strike for a long enough time I couldn't afford the Cab any longer & bought the first of 4 MGB's I have owned for $2,000 less than the Cab would have cost.

Yesterday as I'm sorting through papers I came across the Dealer Order Form.

I'm curious if anyone knows the whereabouts of that car.

It's not listed in the 356 Registry database.

I have always wondered what happened to the 1961 cab I came within a hair of buying from a friend back in ~1966. Have pics with the license plate, but no VIN.
