How rare are sunroof 356B coupes and approx value
Curious how rare 356B (this one is a 1960) Sunroof coupe. Reasonable condition with some rust on bottom of both doors and in front fenders in front of doors. This one is a 1600 Super. Needs restoration for paint and interior. Rest of body pretty clean.

Hello
OK BT5 or BT6 with sunroof are not "rare" but that extra was delivered to order and a electric sunroof coupe had a higer retail then a convertible.
Some rust says only for experts or people who knew the stuff. You just see mostly the tip from the iceberg. "typical" US cars also often have some slight deformations on both ends and a total unmaintained technical condition ( drive till it brake then fix cheap and sale on ).
Don´t wana scare you but first step is looking for the cheapest and worst car on the marked and find out how the junk looks, just listen what they fixed and how much they spent and how the fix looks now. Then have a look at the best cars at the marked and visit some real specialists. Have a look at there work and get some prices.
AND DRIVE THE CARS if possible
Then look for a car fiting your walet. Best is a old "solid first hand slight worn only needing some cosmetics in near future" car.
