About Milt Minter.....................
Milt Minter was a driving legend in the Porsche World. He died Dec. 2004 at 71 after battling cancer for quite a while. Robert was fortuante enought to spend 5 straight hours with the man one afternoon a few years back and was in awe at the racing stories that Milt had told him and just how kind and friendlyhe was. Milt was one of the winnest Porsche drivers of all time. His last time on the track was only a few months before he died. He still had his love for driving Porsches fast. What a life........................

As for the 993 forum.......... Don't ask....................

I saw a writeup on Minter in Excellence. Must have been a real player to get a whole page article! Had some great photos of his younger years.

Why are you selling your 356? The neighbors giving crap again about being drug dealers?

Funny..... No, they know we are not drug dealers. They now think that we are trust fund kids. Let them think what they want to think. No matter what we tell them, that's what they'll do anyway.

LOOKS like Helga is SOLD.
We want to make room in the garage for something (356) else.... you'll see when we find it

JoAnne

This pic was taken on a very sad day in the current history of 356's................

If all the pieces fall in place, Helga is going to go back home with her orignal owner in California. Is that a great story or what???

As for Max, he is still with us and yes, he is one special brute of a boy

JoAnne

I found this pic on the internet of a US spec car in Europe. Helga is a Euro Spec car in the US THey sure look alike except for the reflectors....

Here's Max's younger cousin, also in Europe........ Normally I don't care for C Coupes done as outlaws, but this one looks pretty good to me.

So yall did sell Helga back to the original owner, well that's cool.

So the real question is - is there going to be a new toy in the garage by November?

Wheeee, JoAnne,
Thanks for the tip to come on in and look around the 356 fourm.
Good girl, with this thread, what a treat!!!! I love all the pics.

Don't let the fellas on the 993 board know you are encourging posting pictures, God forbid.

In case you all didn't know this, JoAnne is the heart and soul of Rennlist and the place would not be the same without her.

You go girl. Now let me see if I have a pic somewhere. Ah yes, Autofest last year, let me dig it up.

Don't let anyone on the 993 board know I posted a pic okay?

Alan..... Don't worry. I do believe that your photo's are welcomed here. We just want to look at photo's of 356's. It's not like there are that many of them left in the world. For heavens sakes, the "newest" 356's are 40 years old!! If you see a 356 somewhere in L.A. (and that's where most of them seem to live) please take a picture or two and share them with us. We'll be happy you did.

Also Alan, you are toooooo kind saying things like that about me. John and Jenn are the heart and soul of this place and not me. They are kind enough to let me camp out here and try to spread a little love and good cheer once in a while.

Thanks,
JoAnne

I found this pic on a European Web Site. Cool line up. Wish Max was in the middle of it!

OK, in keeping the thread going this picture was posted in the Registry List by Richard Sjolund. It is one of the nicest 356 pictures I have seen. Richard is a professional potographer and has requested his pictures only be used for private use (well I have downgraded it a bit to post it anyways).
Enjoy...
