Things to do while motor is out
My '65 356C is getting some repairs that require a competent mechanic to pull and disassemble the engine. While that's being done, what are worthwhile improvements and fixes to invest in that won't add significantly more labor?
Obviously hoses, fuel lines, and the belt should be replaced. Anything else that is a no-brainer?
How about bigger ticket items? I currently have the stock Zenith carbs. I am considering getting the Weber 40IDFs and matching manifolds. Feels like a fairly neutral exchange labor-wise. Not at all necessary but seems like it's inevitable, so might as well.
