Hi Guys,
I have a 64 C with doors probably beyond economic repair, I'm looking for any information regarding fit, gauge, shape,etc. on these repop DANSK doors.

I thought the doors were different between the models so I'm not sure how that works. As the front fenders/wings are not adjustable the gaps in the front and rear of the door are finished with lead. Thus the chance of buying a new or used door and having it fit are slim to none. You might as well buy a used original Porsche door for around $2000 USD.

The new doors don't fit either. Everything on a 356 must be fitted to the chassis it's going on. Doors do not interchange. A friend told me his body guy wasn't happy with the new 356 stuff and would have preferred to make his own skins. As for the metal, I like the TK Simonsen parts that are available from Zim's.

Fix your own doors. Now, you have a devil you know. Buying another car's doors or reproduction doors gives you an unknown mess.

"C" doors also have receivers for the armrests/door pulls which other year doors did not have.
