Self explanatory...
Looking for a friend after Porsche gave him the wrong number on the COA (now righted)...

There is also the search at 356a.com - but I checked and the engine hasn't been reported to the DB....

Here's what the site DOES say about that engine number -

Engine number 602629 is a 1600 (Type 616/1 T5), part of range 601501 to 604700.

This engine was originally fitted to a car as follows:

1960 (built 1960) T5 B cabriolet (Reutter) with a serial number between 152944 and 154560.
1960 (built 1960) T5 B coupe (Reutter) with a serial number between 110238 and 114650.
1960 (built 1960) T5 B roadster (Drauz) with a serial number between 87392 and 88920.

Thanks, gents, I checked those sites first. So this is the "internet shotgun blast" with the hopes that someone, somewhere, might know the whereabouts.

I don't have that engine, but i have one close. 602651.....from a 60 normal.
