I would have been more impressed if you made it out of metal, heated it up, and branded your ***.

Seriously though, that's pretty cool! How long did that take to make?

That's pretty nice. You should paint it and hang it on a wall.

I like the *** branding idea. You could do "Pre-tuned by German engineers" instead though.

And i'll be the first to name my kid 944.

Does it count if it was made on a P2P Wood CNC machine?

Cause we have one at work, and I was working on programming it to cut me the emblem out of a solid piece of Walnut or something... The guy that works it told me it would take at least a few days.

are you going to paint it?

I'll wager that since making that, your car will be so happy it will give you 50 more hp!

Very nice, can I get the file?

edit: If that's NOT done on a CNC machine then I believe that you do love Porsche more than anyone here.

Thanks guys but I cant take credit, I simply asked for it.
I bought a 924 turbo today and the shop owner had it. He said I could have it. As soon as I saw it i knew i would keep it forever. I even named it, P-Wood.

I'm not sure if its CNC or hand done but i tell you it is flawless. There are strands of hair in teh horses tail and maine, also all the edges look routed. Very cool.

Oh and I have just thought up a new sig: "My porsche gives me wood." LOL

Sorry royalty, not trying to steal your thread, but very cool!

If anyone really does want one of these, I have a Laser Engraver at my school where I can engrave anything, or cut out any emblem. I could probably turn out some smaller versions then this. It takes quite a while to engrave, a Porsche sign especially because it has all the raised font, requiring everything to be engraved out. I can even do peoples cars on wood if you want. I can put a picture on the computer, and engrave it on to the wood. If anyone is really interested in one of these, shoot me a PM or E-mail, and I'll see what I can do!

This one is hand carved though. The font isn't perfect, but it is still very nice!
