Yes, I am. Good magazine, Spiel, discounts at OPC's, helpful advice, etc + my favourite, track days at Puke. Macca was at the one I have attended I am sure, his number plate is ORB, immaculate 968.

There's a few others that lurk in the watercooled sections as well.
I've been here for a while under another name but forgot the password and had changed e-mail accounts hence the new name

Don't forget me Nirich!
I am a 3.6 Turbo 2 owner and live in Whakatane.
Yes, there is a Porsche in Whakatane, one only. Plus a Cayenne, but we won't go there.
Welcome to rennlist. Sometimes we are at the 964 Turbo forum too. Well thats where I hang out.
You should join the club too. It is cheap and there are good blokes there.
Get into the driver training days.
Have you just bought the car?
Cheers

Hi 993man.
Nice to see some more Kiwis coming out of the woodwork.
I have had the car 6 months....and just love it. Its pretty much my daily driver.
I will send off my club registration this weekend as one of the things i really want to do is a track day.
Right now i'm trying to find the time to replace the spark plugs....hopefully next weekend. Should be an experience!

Good luck with the plugs mate. Thats something I would rather just pay someone to do. It seems every time I attack a small job I need to go and buy even more tools. Problem is I only ever need to use them once.
These days I just stick to the oil changes. Even then I couldn't find the oil filter!
I know where it is now, but you can imagine how embarrassing it was to go onto a forum and ask where it was! Turns out I wasn't alone which is good.
I have done a couple of track days. One in Puke which was awesome. They called it driver training but to me is was racing! The other was at Taupo which is close for me. Thats a good track for a Turbo. They love the short bursts out of the corners. Bit hard on the car but thats fine. As I have heard a million time before, they are made for that.
Might see you at an event soon.
Cheers
