TechArt Porsche Cayman GT4 Is More Bumble, Less Bee

Porsche, one of the best sports car makers in the world, doesn’t have any shortage of options. Just to start, you have to pick between the 911, the Cayman, and the 718. Then each one of those models has at least four or five different models to pick from (with the 911 maxing out at a whopping 16 technically different cars).

Yet while looking for a new project to customize, TechArt chose one of the prettiest and most capable new cars to come out of Stuttgart: the Cayman GT4. The base Cayman is priced about $40,000 below the base 911 ($89,400), but the GT4 sits right below the 911 at $84,600. It’s already a gorgeous machine, especially in this black paint with the yellow accents. But TechArt wanted to give it the same treatment it’s already given the 911, Cayman, and Macan, so they added 21-inch Formula IV wheels.

The wheels that come with the aggressive GT4 are 20 inches, so it’s not a huge departure from what it normally looks like, but the rears also have five-millimeter spacers to give the car a slightly different stance. They’re available in a couple different colors and one-inch bigger, but they’ll cost you at least $5,000 for a set.
