Here’s everything you need to know about Porsche’s appearance at the 2017 New York Auto Show, plus a drool-worthy photo gallery!

The New York International Auto Show is without a doubt an important one for Porsche. After skipping the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, and flying under the radar in Chicago, Porsche brought two heavy-hitters to the Big Apple.

Despite not being “new,” the Panamera Sport Turismo and 2018 911 GT3 hadn’t set foot in North America, so Porsche banked on these two sizzling models to create buzz in one of their most important markets. We were able to get up close and personal with these machines, and trust me when we say that they are simply astonishing.

2018 Porsche 911 GT3

Does the GT3 even need an introduction? Probably not. The newest version of Porsche’s track-friendly 911 sat on a rotating platform in Guards Red, imposing its radicalĀ presence upon the more street-friendly models. Sporting an optional carbon fiber aero kit, painted 20″ wheels, and ceramic composite brakes, the 2018 GT3 looked better than ever before.

Inside the cockpit, $5,200 carbon fiber bucket seats stole the limelight, despite the Alcantara-plagued interior looking utterly delightful. This specific model was outfitted with the 7-speed Doppelkupplung transmission, although a 6-speed manual will be available upon its release in fall ofĀ 2017.

When it comes to performance, theĀ 500 horsepower and 339 lb.-ft. of torque emanating from theĀ naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine should offer plenty of it. According to Porsche, this engine block is shared across the R, RSR, and even motorsport models.

MSRP: $143,600

2018 Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo

As we said before, don’t call this a wagon, a shooting brake, an estate, an all-road, or anything else. This is Porsche’s Sport Turismo, period.

This sleek and quite delicious Panamera is certainly one of our favorite models of the entire Porsche lineup. Offering more cargo space, and room for five (instead of four like in some Panamera trims), the Sport Turismo aims to be a handsome all-around Porsche.

The new Panamera variant will be offered in five trims, which will rangeĀ from 330 horsepower, all the way up to 550 for the Turbo, and even anĀ E-Hybrid battery operated model. That being said, all Sport Turismos coming to the United States will only feature all-wheel drive drivetrains.

MSRP: $96,200-$154,000
