Porsche 911 Speaker

Porsche Design is set to rock the leaves off the trees this fall.

Whether you prefer to take in Mozart in your lounge or bang your head to Megadeth in your man cave, what better way to showcase your tunes than through the new Porsche 911 Speaker?

Porsche Design has taken the original tailpipe cover of the 911 GT3 and used it as the main part for its new Bluetooth 911 Speaker. The result: maximum power and sound. The iconic shape and the use of high-quality materials, such as the aluminium housing, make the Bluetooth speaker the perfect balance between form and function. However, it is the performance potential of the 911 Speaker that is most impressive: A 60-watt system output, Bluetooth 4.0, and apt-X technology promise pure, natural bass and precise tones.

An easy-pairing function allows quick connection of the speaker to any mobile device or PC and offers up to 24 hours of wireless CD-quality sound with the help of its lithium-ion battery. The option to sync two 911 Speakers promises a state-of-the-art sound experience: Stereo mode separates the left and right channels, whereas in party mode the two Bluetooth speakers fill the room with the same stereo sound.

So, whether you’re in your game room playing billiards, in the family room watching Game of Thrones, or lifting weights in the garage, all of your listening experiences can be enhanced with Porsche Design’s new speakers. The 911 Speaker becomes available in the U.S. in October in select Porsche Design stores as well as online for $599.
