Porsche-Loving Toddler Really Knows His Cars (Video)

This kid can rattle off the names of 50-plus cars, but Porsche is still his favorite.

If you’ve got kids, you already know that even as toddlers, they tend to soak up information pretty fast. Everything you do or say is subject to those watchful little eyes and ears. But while most one or two-year olds are probably fixated on things like Baby Shark, at least one of them is more concerned with expanding his automotive knowledge.

That kid is Nicholas Drake, who’s recently become a bit of an Internet sensation. Mainly because by the ripe age of one, he was able to name off 50 different vehicle models by sight. The boy’s dad, Luke Drake, has posted a few videos on YouTube demonstrating his brilliant son’s automotive knowledge. The best part? Porsche is his absolute favorite, according to the Daily Mail.

Like most of us, Drake’s obsession with cars started almost from birth. He got his first toy car at the ripe age of six months. But unlike most kids his age, Nicholas has a real knack for remembering them by sight. Luke obviously helps with that, spending time teaching him new models every night. And his mom, Julie, has no problem with this daily man time.

“My husband started teaching him the makes and models and it’s become a family hobby,” Julie told the Daily Mail. “It is so funny. He just has to hear a car name and he can remember it. He must know 40 or 50. We go for walks and he will call out the name of every car he passes.”

The youngest Drake’s passion for cars has obviously rubbed off on the rest of the family, as they now frequent car shows whenever possible. And while some might call it silly, we say this is just a case of solid parenting for one of the world’s youngest Porsche fans.
