Porsche Introduces Lift System for 911 Carrera

As everyone with a sports car, or a car that’s been lowered, will tell you: speed bumps, garages, dips in the pavement, and even seemingly grass has the potential of messing up your car’s front splitter. However, lately, manufacturer’s of the top tier sports cars have been coming out with front end lift systems. Now, that system has been brought to the all new Porsche 911 Carrera.

While other top spec Porsches have had this system for quite some time, Porsche hasn’t ever put it onto the base spec 911 Carrera. According to Porsche, as you come to a blockage in the road, such as a speed bump, simply press a button and the ride height raises 40mm, giving you plenty of clearance to cover anything the road has to offer.

Additionally, Porsche say the system will work at speeds of up to 21 miles per hour. Honestly, more cars should be fitted with this system, because the speed bumps and sleeping policemen of the world are getting out of hand.
