Emory Motorsports brings Porsche Outlaw 356 aesthetic to two wheels.

SoCal’s famous Emory Motorsports has collaborated with Vintage Electric Bikes on a new project, and the result of this collaboration of creative talent is as awesome as it is unique. The limited-edition electric bike, appropriately called the Outlaw Tracker, is pure badass and designed to appeal to tastemakers and rebels alike. The mastermind behind the Porsche-inspired creation is third-generation car customizer and head of Emory Motorsports, Rod Emory. The master craftsman’s trademark is strategically channeling classic Porsches into his work, some of which has been featured on Jay Leno’s Garage.

“The Outlaw Tracker is about disrupting the status quo,” says Emory (pictured below). “What Vintage Electric is doing to the bicycle reminds us of what we did to Porsche 356s a couple decades ago. We are stoked to be involved in this project.”

Now, just based on looks alone, the Outlaw Tracker is a gorgeous bike that commands attention with its glistening Carrera Silver paint job, one of the most distinctive colors used on the company’s famous Emory Outlaw Porsche 356s. However, the limited-edition bike is much more than just a pretty face. Equipped with a Race Mode that activates 3,000 watts of power from its three-phase brushless electric motor, the Outlaw is also a relatively powerful ride that reaches a top speed of 20 mph. Schwalbe Fat Frank tires )26 x 2.35 inches) keep the pace even and the ride smooth. (The bike’s Standard Mode complies with street-legal regulations in the U.S. and Europe.)

Sparing no expense to create this state-of-the-art, Porsche-inspired electric bike, Emory crafted the handlebars from stainless steel, and the saddle is hand-covered in leather by Brooks England. Adding to the perfect melding of masculine aesthetics, high performance and extreme durability, the Outlaw Tracker features tough but lightweight aluminum construction, resulting in increased control and better aerodynamics.

The mods, materials and technology used on the Outlaw Tracker are also top-notch. For instance, the Emory Outlaw inspiration extends to the bucket headlight with Le Mans-tribute mesh grille. A bright LED headlight adds modern technology, which, along with an integrated rear tail light, is powered by the main battery, with the wiring hidden inside the frame. The 702 watt-hour lithium battery is housed in a special heat-dissipating aluminum box, which gives the bike a range of up to 35 miles between charges. To maximize range, regenerative braking power recharges the battery while riding. Tapping the braking button smoothly decelerates the Outlaw Tracker, allowing the three-phase brushless electric motor to recoup energy. A sophisticated computer located in the battery box provides smooth anti-lock braking.

Production of Emory Motorsports’ Outlaw Tracker is limited to only 50 bikes, and at just under $7,000, it’s just as impressive as a new Porsche but a lot more affordable.
