Porsche Design Launches New Collector’s Edition Eyewear With Vision Drive
Porsche Design Collector’s Edition eyewear lineup is designed with the same eye toward perfection as Porsche vehicles.
Porsche Design has long offered a vast array of fashionable items for fans of the brand, including a number of special timepieces and eyewear. Now, its latest breakthrough offering has arrived – the new Collector’s Edition eyewear line, which features what it calls Vision Drive technology. Like Porsche vehicles, this new eyewear collection continues the brand’s pursuit of perfection and seems like the perfect solution for drivers seeking clarity, protection, and style.
As such, the Porsche Design Collector’s Edition eyewear line with Vision Drive was designed with a number of features that promise to give owners the best possible view from the driver’s seat. That starts with the frames, which are made from 100 percent ultra-lightweight titanium and feature three-dimensionally shaped temples.
They’re also the first in the world to feature an interchangeable lens system that allows owners to quickly swap out the lenses using a quick lock system – simply turn to unlock and remove the lenses, then replace them with whatever color suits your fancy (or your outfit) that particular day.
As for the lenses themselves, they’re coated in polycarbonate and feature anti-scratch technology, as well as comprehensive protection against ultraviolet radiation. The UV400 lenses absorb UV rays up to a wavelength of 400 nanometers, and anti-glare protection reduces annoying reflections when light comes from behind.
Meanwhile, Porsche Design’s Vision Drive Polarized Extreme Technology offers a decisive optical advantage for the ultimate driving experience, excellent quality, and imaging features. The eyewear comes in a variety of styles – including the traditional aviator, square, round, and even reading glasses – so owners can select their own personal preference.
Each style of eyewear is limited to a select number of units as well, so there’s little chance you’ll come across someone else wearing the same exact style as you.
