PCA NOLA Cup 2019

It’s beer, beads, and burning rubber as PCA NOLA Cup 2019 race weekend coincides with NASA competitions and Mardi Gras.

Race fans are in for a triple dose of fun the weekend of February 22 to 24, 2019. That’s when the Porsche Club of America (PCA) comes to the Big Easy with their PCA NOLA Cup 2019. The event happens at NOLA Motorsports Park in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The weekend will be a shared event with the NOLA National Auto Sport Association (NASA) region. Included over the three days are PCA races, NASA competitions, a NASA High Performance Driving Event, and NASA Time Trial. The PCA practice sessions and races will be in their own run groups separate from the NASA groups. They will be using the 2.75-mile configuration with the “esses.”

Mardi Gras also begins the weekend of PCA NOLA Cup 2019. The beer and beads revelry continues through Tuesday, March 5. So after you’re done watching the races, stick around town to enjoy more of the Big Easy.

Friday’s schedule of PCA NOLA Cup includes a fun race and a 75-minute Enduro points race. A party that night will be hosted by NOLA Sport Porsche Specialists and Quirt Racing of Cresson, Texas. Saturday’s itinerary features two sprint points races, followed by the awards dinner that evening at the NOLA MP Events Center. And on Sunday, fans will be able to watch the Australian Pursuit Race followed by the victory celebration. Performance Stop will be on site over the weekend with driver safety equipment, instructor/student/pit gear requirements, track car consumables, and supplies.

Sponsors of PCA NOLA Cup 2019 are NOLA Sport Porsche Specialists, Quirt Racing, and Brian Harris Porsche of Baton Rouge.
