What’s the first thing that comes to people’s minds when they hear the word “Porsche”? Most certainly think of low-to-the-ground sports car, racing machines with big wings, and the like. Technically they’d be right, but they also don’t know the darker side of Porsche—the rally racing hot rods.
Through various points in history, Porsche has competed in world-class rally racing championships. Sure, such efforts have been dwarfed by the company’s road-racing programs, but they existed nonetheless. Perhaps that’s why there’s a cult of people out there trying to turn Zuffenhausen prodigies into dirt devouring machines.
One of those cult members is Kelly-Moss Motorsports, which was recently profiled by The Drive and which outfitted an all-wheel-drive 964 Carrera 4 with all that and the kitchen sink. Check out the project in the gallery below.
