We all know the Porsche 918 Spyder is a hypercar through-and-through. It delivers an astonishing level of performance while being relatively convenient for everyday use. That being said, how does it stack against the slightly more hardcore McLaren P1 and Viper ACR?

The new Instagram and YouTube sensation, Salomondrin, brings us this video where he managed to get all three cars together, but not only that, he’s equipped every single one of them with matching Pirelli Trofeo R tires. In many ways, equalizing rubber compound is the only way to truly level the playing field.

The all-wheel drive Porsche 918 is propelled by a mid-mounted V8 gasoline engine, which is then assisted by two electric motors, one at the front axle and one at the rear. The hybrid combination equates to an astonishing 887 horsepower and 944 lb-ft of torque, along with a top-speed of 211 mph.

On the British side, the marvelous McLaren P1 is powered by a 3.8 liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, also electrically assisted by one single electric motor. Combined, the P1 produces a towering 904 horsepower and can reach 218 mph under the right conditions. Lastly, the brawnier of the bunch, the Dodge Viper ACR is far less convenient, comfortable and sophisticated than the other two. The American fighter features an old-school 8.4 liter V10 gasoline engine as its only power source, which manages to pump out 645 horsepower.

In the Viper’s defense, its combination of world-class aerodynamics and weight-reduction strategy have allowed it to break 13 track records across the world, where the 918 Spyder, P1, and even LaFerrari have lapped. Now that’s impressive.

So, who do you think will win? The result may surprise you!
