1973 Carrera RS 2.7

One of the most valuable and rare cars, the race-inspired Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 was ahead of its time, and ahead of the pack.

When we think of a Porsche that has it all, we usually imagine something like the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7. It certainly earns a spot as one of the best handling, track capable 911 variants. The 1973 911 Carrera RS 2.7 coupe has gained a cult status as of late for its incredible value. But aside from the impossible price, this Porsche is legendary.

Released in 1972, the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 was part of Porsche’s first-generation of the 911 (1965-73.) At the time of its release it was the fastest production 911. It also had become a noted winner on the track. To us, the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 remains one of the coolest rides, ever. And it is pure Porsche, embodying the true ethos and speed of the marque.
