This oft-overlooked Euro-spec 1974 Carrera 2.7 is one of just over 1,000 produced.

Following up a car like the legendary Carrera RS isn’t an easy task for any automaker. Especially with pesky concerns like safety laws and ever rising fuel prices. But Porsche rose to the task and built yet another legendary ride in 1974, the range-topping Carrera 2.7. Like its predecessor, production numbers were scant, coming in at 1,633 for that model year. In all, only 2,262 were produced between 1974 and 1976.

But this particular 911 Carrera 2.7 MFI is even more special. The Euro-spec model is one of only 1,036 examples built, and likely one of the nicer ones left today. We spotted the Grand Prix White beauty over at The Collector Car Network, where it’s seeking a new owner. Price? If you have to ask, well, you know the saying. But another ’74 Carrera 2.7 MFI recently hammered for $231,000, which isn’t exactly outrageous when compared to much of its air-cooled brethren.
