I have very distinct and happy childhood memories playing with my totally awesome Playmobil pirate ship. But now, all these years later, after seeing the toy company’s new Porsche 911 Carrera S replica, I realize how far from true happiness I really was.

Just look at the features on this childhood-wrecking replica: a removable roof for top-down cruising, a boot you can open to tinker with the engine, a snap-on aggressive front bumper, interchangeable red rims, glowing LED headlights, taillights, and a blue-tinted dash. Heck, it even comes with a Porsche dealership playset so you can have all the fun of waiting around in the comforts of your own home.

The best part of this hot ride though has to be the optional rear-wing that snaps on and off as you please, though I can’t imagine any kid rolling without such an option. Spoiled kids love spoilers, it’s just a fact. Have a look at the GIF above to see how slick it looks, along with the scooped bumper and red hubs. Nice, right?

At $44.99, it actually seems like you wouldn’t be spoiling the kids too badly. Or yourself, if that’s who it’s for. Heck, that LEGO Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS we were looking at a couple of weeks ago is expected to sell for at least twice that amount. And that comes with all the added headache of building the thing out of a thousand-some-odd pieces. This seems like a much better deal. And certainly better than a pirate ship.
