Actor Patrick Dempsey, aka Dr. Derek Christopher Shepherd, M.D., aka McDreamy, is more than just a pretty face. Now he’s the face of the all-new Porsche Panamera.

Well, perhaps he’s not technically the 2017 Panamera‘s official spokesperson, yet, but as you can see in the video below, the former Grey’s Anatomy star is the official driver for the car’s debut at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Of course, it’s not like Dempsey isn’t qualified. He’s as much a race car driver as he is an actor these days, having competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Rolex 24 at Daytona, and the Baja 1000, among other events. And he owns Dempsey Racing, which has two 911 GT America’s in the Tudor United Sports Car Series.

Dempsey certainly feels honored to be driving one of two Porsche Panamera final prototypes at the historic Goodwood Festival. “It’s great to debut this car here at this wonderful event. A tremendous honor,” says Dempsey.

While the theme of the video, “Courage Changes Everything,” may be a bit much, it’s hard not to enjoy watching Dempsey and the the twin-turbo, 500-plus horsepower saloon in action. And it’s also nice to think that Ronald Miller from Can’t Buy Me Love is finally driving something better than a lawnmower.
