High-quality, hand-built wheels are tough and light, but they also upgrade the looks of this Porsche exponentially.

As we all know, it’s hard to improve upon perfection. But it is possible. Look no further than this Porsche 991.2 GT3 as an example. Already a pretty amazing, track-focused weapon, it’s received a massive visual upgrade in the form of shiny new wheels. We came across this gorgeous Porsche in the forums of our sister site Team Speed, where the folks at Wheel Experts were kind enough to share all the specs with us.

Modulare Wheels is proud to announce the release of the Modulare B37CL Forged Monoblock Wheel which is made exclusively for Centerlock vehicle applications. For the debut, we equipped this awesome Chalk 2018 991.2 GT3 with a set of the new B37CLs finished in Satin Black. They measure in at 20×9 front and 20×12 rear. The wheels are fitted to the OEM Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 rubber in sizes of 245/35/20 front and 305/30/20 rear.

The Modulare B37CL is now available to order in 19″, 20″, 21″, and 22″ diameters for most modern centerlocking vehicle applications. This includes the Porsche GT3 and GT3RS and the Lamborghini Huracan Performante and Aventador SV.”

All of which is great news for folks who own centerlock wheel-equipped vehicles like the Porsche GT3 family. Not that the factory wheels look bad by any means, but these Modulare wheels look way better in our opinion. And by the sounds of things, they’re much higher quality as well.

The difference between Modulare wheels and many other manufacturers boils down to attention to detail. They’re able to design each individual wheel to customer specifications, and not just for stock cars. They can adjust measurements to accommodate things like aftermarket brakes and suspension upgrades, as well as widebody conversions.

Once all of this technical work is complete, Modulare mills each wheel from T6-6061 aerospace grade forged aluminum for strength and weight savings. And how many wheel manufacturers can say they do all of that?

All of which is great and all, but these wheels also look absolutely killer on this Porsche, in our opinion. They provide a perfect contrast to the Chalk GT3, and really set it apart from the pack. And isn’t that the main reason people buy new wheels in the first place?
