Jay Leno Enjoys the Heck Out of a 1964 Porsche 356C

I can’t say I’ve seen every episode of Jay Leno’s Garage, but I’m pretty sure Jay has worn the exact same denim leisure suit in all of them so far. (I hear geniuses do that. Or lazy people. Or lazy geniuses. But just when I was making fun of Jay for it, I realized he’d already made fun of himself, even going so far as to team up with Funny or Die on the first denim car, the Leno 501.)

Fortunately, Leno switches up the cars he features on his popular web series more often than he does his shirts. And since Jay is a well-known Porsche lover, the show has treated us to some real beauties over the years.

That’s certainly the case with this most recent episode (shown below), which finds Jay taking a nice, close look at Dr. Anand Rajani’s 1964 Porsche 356C, which had a lot of good work done to it by John Willhoit of Willhoit Auto Restoration. Including a very unique new engine (which Willhoit can tell you all about at the 6-minute mark).

Jay and John take the good doctor’s 356C out to the Canyons of L.A., just to show off what she can do, and, of course, to discuss it at length. We’re assuming Anand gave them permission to take his car, because no sirens show up in Jay’s mirror this time.
