Wild GT4-powered Porsche Cayman GTS build leaves no stone unturned in the quest for perfection.

Porsche enthusiasts tend to see the excellent, much-beloved GT4 as the king of the Cayman crop. And why wouldn’t they? Packing a slightly detuned flat-six from the 911 with less weight, the GT4 is a proper recipe for fun.

But when Rennlister Ryun43 wanted a fast Cayman of his own, he decided to go a much more difficult route. That is, building a GTS into a GT4 killer of sorts. And now the incredible result of his efforts is up for grabs in the Rennlist Marketplace.

This Porsche barely had 5,000 miles on it when BGB Motorsports installed a new heart in this beast – a 3.8-liter GT4 engine with a 4.0-liter conversion. To that, they also added an X51 power kit, Cargraphic headers with sport cats, and a custom Cobb Accessport tune.

While most folks would be satisfied at this point, the OP certainly wasn’t. Not a single remaining piece of this Cayman went untouched, in fact. From the 997.2 6-piston calipers to the Forgeline wheels to the plethora of exterior upgrades. Even the inside packs a ton of mods including lightweight GT4 buckets and a roll cage.

Overall, this Porsche Cayman GTS is one of the more comprehensive builds we’ve seen in quite some time. Which is a testament to the owner’s obvious passion for building something truly unique. And we’re guessing it’s pretty darn fast, too.

So if you’re in the market for a new and exciting ride, you’d be hard pressed to do better than this little Porsche. And even if it isn’t quite your cup of tea, we’re betting that you’ll find just that by perusing the brand new Marketplace!
